get ready for the best 26 hours of your life
Have checks or cash to turn in? Find your dancer captain or anyone on PAC committee and we’ll take care of it!
The Pediatric AIDS Coalition at UCLA (PAC) presents Dance Marathon 2018: Connect. Join us as we acknowledge the battle of children suffering from AIDS by fighting our own personal battle: staying on your feet for 26 hours to literally take a stand against pediatric HIV/AIDS.
With thousands of participants, live music, and appearances by celebrities and activists alike, Dance Marathon has raised almost $5 million in its seventeen year history benefiting HIV-affected children around the world. DM aims to empower the UCLA campus community in the fight against pediatric AIDS by raising awareness about the importance of HIV education and testing, and by helping young people make a difference in halting the spread of this critical, preventable disease.
On April 28th-29th 2018, we look forward to another monumental weekend of campus unity, entertainment, energy, and education, where we stand for our cause -- for the kids and for a cure. Register today!
DM is for the dancers! Join the 7,000+ UCLA students who have completed the challenge of staying standing for the entire 26 hours, literally taking a stand in the fight against Pediatric HIV/AIDS. Dancers have the opportunity to meet our beneficiaries, dance with friends, and be a part of a life-changing event. We have 12 Dancer Captains who assist with fundraising and are here to guide and support you every step of the way.
Dancers commit to fundraising $260 for our beneficiaries. Aside from a life-changing experience, the $260 you fundraise includes five meals, a dancer t-shirt, and a box stuffed with goodies from our corporate sponsors. Register here!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to dance? I'm a horrible dancer!
While dancing to our wide array of performers is lots of fun in and of itself, there are plenty of other things to do at Dance Marathon: Hang out with the Kindle Ambassadors, interact with our Cause display, arts and crafts, play games in Corpo Corner, study in our quiet area, take a workshop on Yoga, Polynesian Dance, Acapella, Zumba, and more!
Does my registration fee go towards my fundraising?
Nope! It's a mandatory donation to the cause and the only thing we ask you personally to contribute financially to our cause.
If you prefer, you can look at is as paying for your free T-shirt, goodie box, and free meals throughout the entire event.
Does my registration fee go towards my morale registration if I change my mind?
I have a medical condition that inhibits me from participating in Dance Marathon. How can I contribute?
We hope for our event to be as accessible as possible. On our registration form we have a checkbox that allows you to identify any foreseeable challenges. We will work with you personally to make sure that you can experience Dance Marathon to the fullest extent possible! If you prefer to explore your options prior to registering, please contact the President or the Director of Outreach.
When is the last day I can register?
The day before Dance Marathon! Though the sooner you register the lower the fee and the more time you have to fundraise.
If you have a legitimate concern regarding fundraising and your ability to attend Dance Marathon, please contact this email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
